VOD Timestamp Link Generator
Paste a Twitch VOD or YouTube video URL, enter a timestamp, and get a shareable link that jumps directly to that moment.
Platform
How the calculation works
Both Twitch and YouTube support timestamped URLs. Twitch VODs use the format ?t=1h23m45s appended to the video URL. YouTube uses &t=5025s (total seconds from the start).
Paste the full video URL from your browser — the tool extracts the video ID automatically and builds the correct timestamped link for you to copy and share in Discord, Twitter, or anywhere else.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I find my Twitch VOD URL?
Go to your Twitch channel → click Videos → find the VOD → right-click the video and copy the link, or open it and copy from the browser address bar. It will look like twitch.tv/videos/1234567890.
Do Twitch VOD links expire?
Yes. Twitch VODs are deleted after 14 days for Affiliates and most Partners, or 60 days for Partners with video storage enabled. Highlights you create from VODs are stored indefinitely.
Do YouTube timestamp links work in Shorts?
No — YouTube Shorts don't support the &t= timestamp parameter. Timestamps only work in regular long-form YouTube videos.
Can I timestamp a YouTube live stream?
Yes, once a live stream ends and becomes a VOD (replay). During a live stream the timestamp is relative to the DVR buffer, which may not be sharable.
