On Twitch, gifted subs use the same revenue split as regular subscriptions. Most Affiliates and Partners receive 50% of the sub price. The Plus Program (updated Jan 2024) raises the split to 60% at 100 Plus Points or 70% at 300 Plus Points, sustained for 3 months of paid subs.
Kick offers a flat 95/5 split on all tiers — the highest creator share of any major streaming platform. This applies to gifted subs too. Tiers are T1 $4.99, T2 $9.99, and T3 $24.99.
Twitch raised T1 sub prices from $4.99 to $5.99 in 2023. T2 remains $9.99 and T3 $24.99. On YouTube, you keep 70% of all membership revenue — YouTube takes 30%. iOS in-app purchases are subject to an additional Apple 30% fee, dropping your share to ~49%.

100 Tier 1 gifts at $5.99 each = $599. The streamer receives $299.50 at the standard 50/50 split, or $419.30 at Partner Plus 70/30.
How much does it cost to gift 100 subs on Kick?
100 Tier 1 gifts at $4.99 each = $499. The streamer receives $474.05 (95%). Kick's 95/5 split applies to gifted subs just like regular subs.
What is the Twitch Plus Program?
The Plus Program (relaunched Jan 2024) has three tiers: 50/50 by default, 60/40 after sustaining 100 Plus Points for 3 months, and 70/30 after sustaining 300 Plus Points for 3 months. Only paid recurring subs count — Prime and gifted subs do not earn Plus Points.
Can I gift YouTube memberships?
Yes — YouTube supports gifted memberships in live chat. The cost to the gifter and revenue to the creator use the same pricing and 70/30 split as regular memberships.
Does Twitch take a cut of bits as well as subs?

How many subs can you gift at once on Twitch?
You can gift up to 100 subs in a single gift bomb on Twitch. There's no limit on how many gift bombs you can send in a session. Recipients are randomly selected from viewers in chat who have opted in to receiving gift subs.
Can I gift subs to a specific person on Twitch?
Yes — use the 'Gift a Subscription' option on a viewer's profile to send directly to that person. This is separate from a gift bomb (which goes to random viewers). The revenue to the streamer is the same either way.
Do gift subs auto-renew?
No — Twitch gift subs do not auto-renew. The recipient gets one month free; if they want to continue subscribing, they need to manually subscribe at the end of the gifted period. This is why viewer sub counts can drop noticeably after a large gift bomb.
