How the calculation works
The projector uses a simple linear model: weeks to milestone = (target − current) ÷ weekly growth. This gives a conservative baseline — growth often accelerates with viral clips, raids, or algorithm boosts.
Your weekly growth rate (new followers per week) is available in Twitch Analytics → Channel Analytics, filtered to the last 7 days. For YouTube, check YouTube Studio → Analytics → Subscribers.

Where do I find my weekly follower growth?
On Twitch: Creator Dashboard → Analytics → Channel Analytics → set date range to last 7 days → look at the follower gain. On YouTube: YouTube Studio → Analytics → Audience tab → Subscribers.
Why is my projection so far out?
Linear projections at low growth rates can look discouraging, but growth is rarely linear. A single viral clip, a host from a larger streamer, or consistent streaming can spike your weekly growth significantly. Use this as a floor, not a ceiling.
Does Twitch Affiliate require exactly 50 followers?
Yes — 50 total followers on your channel (all-time), plus 3 avg CCV, 7 unique stream days, and 500 minutes broadcast — all in the last 30 days except the follower count.
What's the YouTube milestone at 1,000 subscribers?
YouTube requires 1,000 subscribers AND either 4,000 public watch hours in the past 12 months or 10 million public Shorts views in the past 90 days to apply for the YouTube Partner Program.
What's a good weekly follower growth rate?
5–20 new followers/week is typical for a new channel with consistent streaming and minimal off-platform promotion. 50–100+/week usually indicates a viral clip or active TikTok/Shorts presence. If you're growing under 5/week consistently, a change in game selection or off-platform strategy will have more impact than streaming more.
How do I speed up follower growth on Twitch?
The highest-ROI activities in order: (1) post clips to TikTok and YouTube Shorts consistently, (2) stream games where you can appear on page 1 of the directory (under 500 total viewers in the category), (3) build genuine relationships with 5–10 streamers at your level who raid each other, (4) maintain a consistent weekly schedule so returning viewers become regulars.
Does Twitch Partner have a follower count requirement?
Not officially. The Path to Partner achievement is based on 75 average viewers, 25 hours, and 12 stream days in 30 days. However, Twitch's manual review process for Partner applications does consider follower count as a secondary signal — most Partners applying have at least 1,000–2,000 followers.
Do unfollows affect my growth projections?
This calculator projects based on net new followers per week. If you're gaining 50 but losing 20, your net growth is 30 — use the net number as your weekly growth input for accurate milestone projections.
