Every platform renders images at different sizes and crops them differently. Uploading at the wrong dimensions means blurry thumbnails, cropped banners, or compressed-looking posts — even if the content itself is high quality.
The dimensions listed here are source file sizes — the resolution you should design and export at, not the display size. Most platforms downsample your image for display, so always upload at the larger source size to maintain sharpness.
